    Quite the juxtaposition here:

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

    terrible accident

not that far from us wife and I use to go to Greenville to the pumpkin festival when we were younger

Hi Dave, the pumpkin festival was over in Bradford, and as far as I know, it's still going on. I never wanted a mouthful of confetti, so I never went to it.

That was the traditional welcome you got to the festival. Some kid would come up to you and throw a handful of confetti in your face.

Ot off track. I do feel for the family and what the husband will have to relive the rest of his life prayers to and for them

Dave, did you ever go to the Triangle? That was a bar/nightclub/ bare-knuckle brawl in the parking lot facility west of Greenville. I don't know if it's still open, I haven't been there since the 60's.

I don't think so but there were other "fighting bars" I did go to often the white front in down town Sidney was one

we use to go to a bar / night club west of us maybe bruckers or something to that effect I do not remember the spelling and obvious the real name or location all just fuzzy memories now

I can tell short story about the place me and one gal were 18 but about a 8 or 10 of us would go .. the funny part I had a ID , I found while working at the grocery store of a fellow I knew from school days his name was also Dave but was 3 years older I told him I had it and my intentions he said he already replaced it have fun and use it😁 we were close in appearance all the details matched ( before pictures )

along with that to get in the place most of the gang were 17 close to 18 but not there , one fellow used my drivers licenses one my draft card one even my fishing license any thing that had my name and age no matter what it was the girls all used some form of Id for the 18 year old girl . this was all just drinking and run around buddies man the fun we had and was a life time ago how we made it home is pure luck most nights , we went there many times over one year and every time the guy checking ID's would say OK this is the "last time " I am letting in five Daves and five Marlene in and no more fishing licenses but same story every time .. boy times were different 😁

I saw on the news last night that the husband passed away yesterday. He suffered severe burns on over 30% of his body.
