saw where Rocky posted on another thread about coffee to drink it black, like it was intended. well few years ago I drank at least a pot if not two of coffee black and strong, at work every night, hardly ate at work just drank coffee. after I had my bypass surgery, I am lucky if I drink a cup or two a week, it just doesn't taste good and that is with creamer now if it is handy. Same with beer, I drank more than my share, usually at least a case or case and a half a week. now if I can get 2 down it is pushing it, they just don't taste as good as they used to. this happen to any of you all?????????????

I'm kind a losing the flavor for meat. The center of all meals. The reason to sit down at the table and deal with relatives. I suppose with biden making intake for meat a once a week thing I might do okay now?

Just lost 25# in three weeks due to ‘all’ food being repulsive. Compromised adrenal glands caused blood sodium to fall to critical level. Survived on 4 saltine crackers in the morning, three in the evening, and water. Daily dose of steroids to stimulate adrenal glands now has me eating with ‘both’ hands ,,,,,,,, 😂

There was a time when I had no use for coffee, grapefruit or cranberries. I use to drink tea, liked it real strong. Maybe twenty years ago some whole cranberries got on my turkey at thanksgiving, have liked cranberries ever since. Coffee was the worse tasting drink I could think of, about ten years ago wife was telling how great this coffee was she was drinking, so to please her I tasted, been hooked ever since. Grapefruit, just can’t see that happening.

As they say, when one door closes another one opens.

I was a smoker for many years. I made some wicked 7 alarm chili (hot peppers from at least 7 sources) that I wouldn’t enjoy today. I almost never drink lager or pilsner in favor of wheat beer and coffee is weak or even decaf. I didn’t care for grapefruit or bran flakes when younger but like the former and tolerate the latter for health reasons.

I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly
