Did the Remington SP-10 have a chrome lined barrel? "Thanks"

Neither of mine are chrome lined.
Have you shot any STEEL shot through them? VGUN1
I have not but the previous owner might have. My son has one and I am sure he has shot steel for waterfowl.
I sold a few before Remington stopped making them and don't recall anything stating that the barrels were chromed. Only had one problem reported and that was a customer that forgot to change from his turkey choke before going goose hunting. It didn't damage the barrel but steel BBB shot do tend to destroy an extra tight choke meant for lead. If I recall correctly we sent the barrel to Remington and they somehow removed the peened in choke without messing up the barrel. Remember a modified lead choke is about equal to a full steel choke and don't go much tighter. Bob
"Thanks" for the info. Going to try steel shot out this weekend. VGUN1
Stay with "BB"s or smaller and use a steel tube or a mod lead tube I had my SP-10 sent to Brileys and had them install "BLACK CLOUD" choke tubes. WOS What a shooter. .😛😛😛
