I have been seeing commercials on TV with several lawyers suing The USMC and Camp LeJune over the water. I checked it out and I guess the water at Camp LeJune was really bad. If you were stationed there from 1953-87 you may want to check out what is going on.

one of the reasons for my VA medical coverage is/was being stationed there for about 2 1/2 years, and the resulting medical conditions. I am just happy for the coverage and not interested in suing, or making some lawyer rich........

Did Camp Geiger have the same problem or just Lejeune?

yeah, same water supply, I was permanent personell at geiger, instructer at infantry training school, I think the only requirement it 30 consecutive days or more at Lejuene or any of the smaller surrounding camps, Johnson, Geiger, new river air station behind Geiger, Courthouse bay, and I even think the rifle range, along with any of the base housing...

I had a classmate/friend of mine that went there for basic training (or whatever the Marines call it). He was then sent to Nam, after being back home for a few years he died from cancer. I assumed it was agent orange that got him, but maybe not.

I talked to him before he was sent to Nam, and said the worst part of being at Camp Lejune was the sand flees that chewed on him.
