Funny guy! Had a good long life of 99 years. I enjoyed watching him on F Troop back in the day. He also voiced many cartoon characters.

I met him at the airport in LA back in the early 70's. I was just a kid then. He was nice to me and my Dad. I loved F troop when I was a kid.

    RIP

Corporal Randolph Agarn aka Larry Storch

    January 8,1923 - July 8, 2022

F-Troop was on TV, '65-'67. I was 10-12 years old.

Very funny way back then !

It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

    RIP Sir......

Dang, now I have the F-Troop theme song stuck in my HEAD.......😜

The end of the Civil War was near

    When quite accidentally,

A hero who sneezed abruptly seized

Retreat and reversed it to victory.

His medal of honor pleased and thrilled

    His proud little family group.

While pinning it on some blood was spilled

And so it was planned he'd command F Troop.

Where Indian fights are colorful sights

    And nobody takes a lickin'

    Where pale face and redskin

    Both turn chicken.

When drilling and fighting get them down,

They know their morale can't droop.

As long as they all relax in town

Before they resume with a bang and a boom

    F Troop.

I was just a young fellow but like many I enjoyed the show how they always tried to make the captan look good and have the local native American tribe act like they were on the warpath to impress visitors and military brass I seem to recall the cheif saying howcowies meant cowards in English or some thing like that ? but they could be bought paid off to help out and wrangler jane all shows had to have a nice looking gal to help ratings

    RIP to a entraining fellow

On F-Troop Agarn was from Passaic NJ. I grew up near there. I think they made him honorary mayor of Passaic. He was also on one of my favorite shows Car 54 where are you,and the voice of Mr Woopie on the Tennessee Tuxedo cartoons.

Melody Patterson, a.k.a. Wrangler Jane was only 16 when the show first aired. She lied about her age and tried out for the part and was hired. I was only 10 at the time and didn't think she was to old for me.😀

She passed away in 2015, so I think all of the main cast members are gone. Bob
