Real old Friend on her death bed

Been a friend for close to 50 yrs. I ran with her brother, she ended up married and I raced her husbands drag car. He died a few yrs back but I still stayed in touch. Wife and I visited her in the hospital the end of last month. Not good she had Lupus and her kidneys failed. Operations and no help. Finally she just gave up dialysis with only 10 per cent kidneys. Spoke Sunday with her daughter and her and the outlook is very terminal. She cannot get out of bed without help and has quit eating. I only pray she go in her sleep. Hard to say goodbye to long known friend.

Getting old sadly means saying good by to many old long time friends. I miss all of mine think of them more often each year I continue on in life
however I cherish the time I spent with them. I like to think i still keep ther memories and adventures to share alive with me

Prayers and best wishes for all.
Thanks for the responses. She is still kicking but a real character. A Harley girl all her life. Ran with a group of Bikers up in the mountains and didn't take any noise from anyone. Everyone on here has heard of them. She called me early one morning yrs ago.. that someone broke into the cabin she visited in the middle of the night. She shot the intruder with a .357 one shot in the chest and he was dead on the spot. The other man got away. Bikers were upset someone came on their property. She wasn't the least concerned and told the deputies if the other one came back she would shoot him.
