From my dad's estate

I have inherited my dad's Dan Wesson .445 Supermag. It's stainless and long. I can't find one to compare prices. Can you all toss me some numbers so I have a better idea of what to start the auction at. I would guess he fired 5 rounds in it because he put the fired brass back in the box before putting it all back into the safe.
Thankyou, James

1800.00 plus or minus a bit. More valuable to a Wesson collector.
Rare bird and ammo might be hard to come by unless one hand loads.
My to cents.
The 445 Supermag is a 44 magnum on steroids - the firearm can fire 44 Special - 44 Magnum - or 445 Supermag.
Reeds Ammo that sells on the GunBroker auction side has 445 Supermag ammunition.

Thankyou all for your advice. I just put it up on * in Canton Ohio for $1600. But you were right. I looked at past auctions on GunBroker and a starting bid of about 1500 ended up at more then 2000. Again thanks for your help.
I would rather have my dad back then to be selling his guns.
My condolences for your dad.
Sorry for your loss. Dan Wesson revolvers have increased in value considerably. That gun, in that caliber, I would think around $2,000. Good luck. Would love to have it.
