my departed BIL ( RIP to a good guy and former army ranger in Vietnam ) he lived in Georga for a while and I know one job he had was building and worked on automated chicken processing equipment from plucking to cutting them into pieces .
he hated the field repair work on machines that had broken down I could see why 😲

There has to be some sort of OSHA violation going on...
Automation does take away jobs, but it creates others. Guys that used to make wagon wheels and buggy whips now program computers and inventory electric cars. Coal is not coming back though. I don't miss surf either though.
