I have been following this story. It seems the FBI was going to be in the State later this summer and expected to have full access to carry permit holders' information. It will interesting to see where this goes...
I tip my hat to a politician willing to stand up for the people way to go sir
I wish the rest would follow his example tell the big boys go pound sand
Our borders will be far easier to barricade than most other states.
Since the FBI is a political arm of the (D) party I would expect them to use the NSA to hack into the records and get them in an illegal manner no matter what the State of Missouri AG says.
I suspect the fed's reasoning is that in a lot of states, CCHL holders don't have to undergo NICS checks, and they want to be able to see those transactions without going to each individual FFL dealer's files.
BINGO.............it doesn't matter what the STATE says...............the feds will get access to the records, no matter what, at any cost.
We are living in a surveillance state similar to China now folks.
That's why I only do private transactions now.
The FBI should concentrate more on catching criminals.
Oooooo you usin a loophooooolllll. LMAO.
In all seriousness.....the feds WILL get all the gun owners information(yes ALL gun owners)! Yes its illegal, but that has never stopped one Dem or corrupt govt agency in history!
The FBI is pushing the woke leftist communist agenda. They have no time to go after actual criminals!
I mean what do you think they are.....some kind of federal law enforcement agency. Sheesh.
I guess Missourians won't "show me".
"I guess Missourians won't "show me"."
Only the pointy end of the stick. MO doesn't follow the trend of CCW permitees not going through the 4473 background check(we don't require CCW anymore, either).
From my perspective, this is just flexing the muscles sort of posturing from the Feds.
