A soft 28" long canvas rifle case. Has a built-in cleaning rod? pocket inside. Anyone know what rifle this is made for. See no markings anywhere. Thank you for your time.

    It is not a military case for a paratrooper carbine, those had a fold over flap, with two klikit star pulls or lift-the-dot snaps and each case was stamped with "US" and the makers name as required by the military. Yours could be a commercial version or it is just unknown.
