okay this shortage thing is getting personal. went to my favorite chicken buffet to day {not a chain} and they did not have any livers or gizzards. that is totally unacceptable and something needs to be done.

Someone should ask Frenchie about this at the next press conference, varian.
Going to get some gizzards tomorrow...
Well I can promise you I have not bought any the last time 45 years or so ago to use as catfish bait
are you complaining or just glad they didn't have them...........
Soulution to the problem; raise your own chickens. They are stupid easy to care for, eat all salt free table scraps including bugs, tomato ends, old bread, stale fruit (they love melon rinds) and every bug they come across. You can have gizzards glore for a few pennies each.
Back in the day my mother in law, just freshly married, her father in law gave her a big ole rooster to fix for Sunday dinner. Note she had never prepped a chicken. She plucked, dressed, and fried it fright up, heart, liver, gizzard, and all the chicken parts. The family sat down for the meal, one of them grabbed the gizzard and much to their surprise there was about everything the old bird had ate for his last supper still in the gizzard. And that my folks was the end of dinner.😮
My opinion........that's classified as Catfish bait 😀. I'll help hold the price down for you by not buying any.

I thought you were going to start singing that old Donna Summer's/Barbra Streisand Disco song....😜
KFC in my area has stopped selling the livers . Western sizzling has them on the food bar .
Bout all the buffets around here are in full swing.
I do avoid them for reasons other than the Faucci flu.
First time I have ever seen the word "running" and "buffet" used in the same sentence.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Ever been at a seafood buffet when a load of fresh crab legs hit the bin?
Everyone runs to get all they can carry.
Last time I priced a gizzards and hearts (beginning of the year) $2.99 a pound I can imagine them being $3.99 by now?
@Mr. Perfect the running comes after the buffet...
