I located a bolt assy f/ this shotgun but cant get it to cock when i shove it forward but it wont turn down to complete the cocking. Any ideas? Thx

    Some Mossberg bolt action shotguns had up to three variations of the bolt. I bought a bolt for one on the auction side and had the problem you describe. I contacted the seller and he told me there were three different bolt lengths for that particular model shotgun (I do not remember which model I had). Thankfully he allowed me to return the bolt. And a few weeks later when he listed another bolt he notified me that it would not fit my shotgun.
