Vintage Shooting Chrony

Many years ago I had a Shooting Chrony. As I recall it was green and worked well until 52 grains from my .222 drilled its innards, stem to stern.
I replaced that with a ProChrony which also worked well. Finally sold it after years of not using it.
Today I found a Red Shooting Chrony at a yard sale. Asking price was $15.00. Its' 9 volt battery was corroded to near non-recognition, though the Duracell battery was labeled "use before 1991!" Otherwise it appeared to be in good shape and I offered $5.00.
New battery and it works great. Only control is a simple ON/OFF switch. Seems like maybe it will just tell me shot by shot velocity. Would love to track down a copy of the original instructions.
Anyone?
Thanks,
Rob Crosby

my son shot mine last year. i think i just threw the box and instructions away last week i will check and see if i still have them.
No rush, but appreciate the effort.
Double checked....the Chrony is an "F1" model.
well i looked and looked and looked some more, i even found the box it came in but no instructions. i keep a file cabinet in my shop where i put all the owners manuals and found many for things i no longer have. about the time i was finishing that up i had an idea about where it had gone. i'll bet i had it folded up inside the Chrony and threw it away with it. good news, for me, is i found my spare glass for my welding shield.
Instructions? We don' need no steenking Instructions.
google red chrony F1 shooting instruction manual
Thanks guys! Glad the welding sheild is found! Will google red F1 now. As for not needing no steenking instructions, you're likely right. I hope to find out Wed. a.m.
Hope everyone's surviving the heat and THANKS for taking time to respond!
