I purchased what was described as a cracked, "otherwise good condition" M-14 E2 stock. Once I received it, it was OBVIOUS it was not "otherwise good condition". It was twisted, warped and so out of alignment you could not even fit a barreled action into it. The crack was the LEAST of the problems this stock had. As it was, I contacted the seller, explained item was unusable, asked if it was a consignment item, as he owns a gunshop. He never replied if it was, just said I could send it back.

I agreed to pay return shipping, but, was VERY specific that refund was to be a USPS or Western Union MO sent USPS Priority, and I would deduct the cost of that from the refund amount. I received 2 checks from members last month, both were NSF and cost me $40, so I was specific it had to be a MO. I sent him a MO, he sent me a POS, so least he could do is send a MO as refund.

Cost of stock was $250, plus $20 shipping, I paid $10 for Priority mail with tracking for his payment, total $280.

Got the paperweight, then spent $45 to send it back, total $325. He agreed to send me a MO for $260. Great deal. : )

I gave him benefit that he MAY not have know how unuseable the stock was, so chalk it up and move on.

I shipped it, USPS Priority Insured with Signature Confirmation.

I saw when he received it, sent an e-mail. Radio silence. Later, I sent a text, his reply was, "a check for $270 was cut today to purchase the MO.m WIll be out tomorrow."

OK, yeah.....

Next day, I send an e-mail asking for the tracking number, no reply, so again I later sent a text.

Reply was, "payment sent regular mail, I don't have to JUMP THROUGH HOOPS." The agreed upon refund terms were not hoops, simply terms mutually agreed upon for the return of the item.

I texted back that was not the agreement, he replies, "those were your terms, not mine."

End of communication by him. I left 2 voices mails and sent a couple of e-mails, nothing. I posted negative feedback to alert others of him, posted in that I WOULD edit IF refund received. At this point, he did not comply with the agreed upon refund terms, a week after he received item back, I have no payment, and he has provided no pics of either a MO top or a MO receipt, and I've sent 6 messages to Gunbroker mods for assistance, with no reply. Ideas on how to reach a mod other ways?

Thanks.
