Movie, set during the years of the War of Northern Aggression. Yankee cavalry troopers are all armed with 7 1/2" Colt Single Action Army revolvers and Trapdoor Springfield Carbines. 😄

I won't watch it unless those Colts are Rugers.😊
Heck! Hollyweird put fake flintlocks on old trapdoor rifles and flaunted them as guns used in Revolutionary War films! It wouldn't have been so bad if they were just used in the hard to see backgrounds, but up front in focused view!! Pathetic!
The 1873 Colt in use in 1864.
Bonanza did the exact same thing. They didn't want to show Little Joe with a .36 Colt Navy, reloading with a powder horn.
Honestly don't know why the north... or the south for that matter just didn't roll with AR-15s. Seems like they would have worked better for them.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Read "Guns of the South" by Harry Turtledove. A guy from the future brings back AK47s and gives them to Lee. Things turn out a little differently...
In the movie Zulu the front line troops have single shot Martini's, but the second and third line troops have bolt action SMLE rifles. (Tried hiding them so nobody would know they got help from the future) 😁😁😁
The second line had Enfields? That's cheating.
Sorta a time future movie with new weapons no one had seen yet
