Does anyone know if they ever made these falling block rifles in 32 long - but center-fire. I load 32 long for a couple of S&W revolvers and it would be nice to have a companion rifle using the same cartridge.
Going to have to leave the auction number to one - doesn't do like it should when an 'enter' is after the auction number.

I don't think they did............but I have 'converted' several to c.f. Keep in mind that 'just' converting a .32 r.f. to c.f. will make it a .32 COLT, not .32 S&W. A rechamber would also be nessessary.
Many Thanks 'MIKE WISKEY' for your reply. It would be nice to have a falling block companion rifle but that doesn't look like an easy or inexpensive conversion. Best Regards - AQH
here you go, you could have both. originally a .32 r.f. converted to c.f. and an 'extra' barrel in .32 s&w
Very nice looking set - Many Thanks for sharing the photo. Best Regards - AQH
Just wondering how one deals with difference in bullet diameters: .32 rimfire is .316, .32 Colt is .313, .32 S&W is .312.
.32 r.f and .32 colt should be the same (*think Marlin m-92 w/2 firing pins), the .32 s&w is built on a springfield barrel (.308") but with the soft lead bullets used it doesn't make a difference. remember the auxillary cartridges that allowed you to fire .32's in .30 cal rifles (.30/30, .300 sav. ect)
COTW is the source of the bullet sizes I made reference to.....
