    On the Rook rifle, I don't think I would say "I know it shoots" since the last time you shot it was 30 years ago. I suppose if you personally know nothing is at all different about it, then you could say that, but it seems a more accurate claim is "I know it shot well 30 years ago and it appears nothing has broken or changed since."
