Having eye surgery Wed. Will have a patch on the eye. Wanted a three cornered hat, a parrot, and a cutlass.
Looks like I will have a baseball cap, rubber chicken, and cane.
Life is wonderful.

Laser?
Prayers for a good outcome, and a healthy recovery Geri.
I trust that you will be fine Geri. I had cataract surgery on both eyes a few years ago and though I had reservations about it, my fears were unfounded. A little piece of advice - practice saying "Shiver me timbers) with the correct accent.
Best wishes, you nut. Lol,
Been through some eye surgeries myself over the years......Prayers for a positive outcome for you...
I would hold out for the Cutlass.....the rest I could live without !!
Thank you all for the prayers, Pray for the Dr, and medical team, I will sleep through this one
Removing a drain from the eye.. Then follow up on the pressure readings.
God is good.
Prayers for a successful surgery and recovery.
Astigmatism? Let me know since I might have this in my future.
Hoping all goes well and you recover completely AAARRRRRRG!
Good luck to you. Hope for a speedy recovery.
I'm sitting here in the parking lot at my oral butcher's office. I got here a little early and I'm waiting for time to go in and let him do his thing. Then I'll leave with a mouth full of gauze and battle this bleeding for the next few days. At least it's good for the old diet plan if you don't mind drinking blood, your own that is. Can't quit taking this blood thinner or I'll kick the bucket before the sun rises tomorrow. It really doesn't sound like a bad option does it?
best of luck
eye will say a prayer
Obviously, you need another doctor. Your health insurance should cover parrots with no problem.
Maybe even a monkey.
If you buy a parrot from most places, they make you fill out and sign a promissory legal document for disposition of said parrot after your demise. Those birds live for a very long time!
Prayers sent for a successful surgery today, Geri.
hope all went well and you well on the way to speedy recovery
I have had my share of eye surgery's all were a bit scary just the thought of losing my sight
I had RK done back around 1994 and it did not go to well , and I still have bad feeling and issues from it . , but on a lighter side my co workers helped me out 😲 I went back to work after several days , and my buddies🙄 well

I know people who had cataract surgery and came out with 20/20 or close One story a fellow worker his dad was in his 70's had stopped driving and just stayed home after the procedure his eye sight went back to being great no glasses needed he started driving and going out every chance he could like a night day change in him
I was sorta of excited ( as much as any one could facing surgery) when I was going to have it done then the doc said no sorry . the scars from your old RK surgery will not allow us to fix your vision . it will change we will do what we can but you will still need glasses and he was correct
Have had cataract surgery on both eyes . Near 20-20 distance vision in both eyes. Need minor magnifying glasses for reading . Really pleased with results .
I hope it all went well let us know
How your doing
I had cataract surgery about 5 years ago... I was working as a welding inspector.. I had lenses put in, that had my right eye @ distant vision and the left @ 16-18 inches ( to do inspections).... right eye sure helped with the rifle scope clarity..I when I shoot a handgun, I shut right eye and use the left...Works out just fine..I just have to remember to use my left eye for the handgun sights..
