can anyone give me an i.d. ?
what i assume would have been a contact detonator is gone, print as best i can make out is as follows
last 3 digits masked so as to not cause an issue with whoever may have "liberated" these

thanks guys, figured it was mortar but wanted to be sure what i was talking about
sil gave me a pair he got ?? and there is residual powder in the shell from when the fuse?/detonator was removed

Yep. 81mm Mortar, color blue indicates a training/ practice round. Roughly WW2. Green and yellow markings for high explosive.
