Is it illegal to sell a gun as I moved from Texas to California?

I'm living in California for about 2 years and I still keep my Texas driver license and license to carry handgun. I sold my house there and the only address I have is this in CA. In this situation, how can I sell my guns, is it illegal or not?
Thank you!

I suspect you're in violation of CA code for not updating your driver's license to reflect your actual address. This is probably not the best place to discuss your situation.
And depending what firearms, magazines and ammo you have in your possession may also be an issue there....
Nice try FBI.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Put all the guns in the car. Take them back to Texas and bury them.
More importantly, WHY would anyone move TO California nowadays?
Just give them to any legal to own citizen in Texas
Are you related to FJB's Cornpop? if so just send em to the white house.
Since I am SURE you kept your guns in Texas and did not break the law by taking not legal into CA, then just have a local TX gun store consign them for you. Problem solved.
donate them to local goodwill........
Unbelievable
Even more importantly, why would anyone want to leave Texas and move to California.-----Ray
Your cover is unbelievable.............and the story is something that the dysfunctional FBI would come up with. Nice try.
I would suggest that you dispose of those guns in your KALIFORNIA garbage disposal............or if you don't want to stop up your plumbing........................maybe lay them out on your solar panel roof where they will surely be disintegrated by solar rays. You can burn them up with solar power, get rid of some nasty guns...........and feel really good about your social justice cause.
If you packed more than your lunch on your Tehas carry good for you for not getting caught.
Lets see. You'll be in deep for not doing the registering or bringing in non-California safe guns or maybe you didn't? You can sell under person to person sales through FFL or things the gun shop can consign or out of state sales through ads in gunbroker. You got options.
I did not bring guns in CA, I keep them in my dad's house in TX, my stay in CA is because I'm helping my mom who needs special needs in CA. I am spending most of my time in CA, but because in the beginning of me coming in CA it was temporary and I didn't know how long it will continue . Thanks for all comments!
So if your guns are in Tehas then are you going to bring them to sell in California?
It'll be easier to sell them in Tehas when you go there. Unless you're gonna bring off Roster guns to California then make sure to leave the Tehas legal magazines there. Good luck mule-ing the guns from Tehas to California.
Have Dad (in TX) sell your guns for you. Or next time you go to Texas, consign them at a local gun shop.
If California is going to be your home, you should get a California drivers license.
Thank you yoshmyster, drobs for for your help, thank you to the rest of the people!
I have a idea let him turn in all his guns into Houston Texas city council next buy back gun's program! He could be made looking like a good comrade in California and All those transplanted Liberals from California would be pleased that finally their plan is working here in Texas!
serf
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Metro Park & Ride at 11050 Harwin Drive in the Alief area. They'll stay open later, if necessary.
There will be a few changes this time.
Move back to Texas, and save yourself from that Liberal playground.
Moving from Texas to Kalifornia was your first mistake. Bring your mom to Texas to take care of her.
Instead of selling all of your guns, I'd go through them and pick out a few to bring back to CA with you. You ought to have at least a Pistol, rifle, shotgun, and a 22LR.
I sent my best friend, who is stuck in CA (public school teacher) a Glock 27, holster, 5 mags, and 300rds of 40sw ammo earlier this year as a 15 year late wedding present. Pretty sure he had a long waiting period for both the gun and ammo.
Move your Mother to Texas.
I was just watching this and your situation came to mind.
It seems you got 60 days to let them know what you got in your "possession". Also if I recall when they do a background check on you to buy ammo and they don't have a list of what you got (from 2014/16?) you get to pay to kick rocks. Best to bring in what is "allowed" or can be modified to "legalized". As for ammo bring it at your own risk. You can mule in illegals but ammo be careful.
I won't even give them my tourist money.......
I still have some family and good friends stuck in that poop hole, but haven't been out to visit them in a few years, I enjoy it to be with them when I have, but other than that, glad I go out over 40 years ago...it has some nice weather other than that... not so much.
