A comprehensive reform of the UNSC was also endorsed by the foreign ministers of the US, India, Australia and Japan in a joint read- out by the Quad countries after their meeting in New York on Friday.

The readout committed "to advancing a comprehensive UN reform agenda, including through expansion in permanent and non-permanent seats of the UN Security Council so that the Council reflects the current global realities and incorporates more geographically diverse perspectives."

I am sure whatever they do it will prove to be just as ineffectual as it has been since the U.N. was formed. Of course, that is a good thing because if they were actually effective and wielded any real power that would be the start of the NWO you keep worrying about. Now they only exist to massage world leaders and diplomats egos by giving them a forum to expound long and loud about their wisdom and complaints. Oh yeah, I almost forgot it is also a place where they can beg for handouts. Bob

Depends on circumstances.Under the league of nations the nations walk away from it but todays world is much more connected and big business depends on a world standard now. Russia is isolating itself without the capacity to achieve it's conventional war fighting capability and the instant it uses a nuke then The United Nations will grow in stature in my opinion.

Russia will be cut out of being one of the five standing permanent members and China will bend to accept it also.
