A seller with over 2,000 auctions and a A+ rating is not responding to emails, even through the GB system. Their phone does not ring through at all. I dial the number and it goes to two beeps (not rings) and disconnects.
They are a verified seller.
I want to know shipping from CA to OH and am cautious when it comes to undeclared shipping. I would like to bid but wonder what is going on. Got any suggestions?

You might be right but this is a BIG gun store with lots of employees, my caution is the phone calls not going through and emails not answered. The freight issue could really bite me. I will keep trying there are 4 days left on the auction.
Check their feedback to see if anyone complained about shipping charges. I wouldn't bid unless I knew how much shipping and handling was. That's just me.

Maybe they are in an area with no electricity/internet?! (Storm damaged area?)VOIP phones won't work without power and internet.
Don't bid until you get in contact.
They are in California so no storms, I actually checked.
Got them, their phone lines were down.....
I always ask about shipping charges too. Don't want to be surprised by some outrageous price
NEVER bid without knowing total cost! That "actual shipping cost" bs means nada.
Unrealistic shipping ... send them the cost via a couple links
