After 41 years of wearing a uniform and/or hardhat, I pulled the plug last Friday. Don't know why this picture keeps showing up sideways, but I'll have a lot of time now to figure it out.........

Congrats on making it to your retirement. Enjoy it. I'm sure that you have earned it.
Here ya go ,,,,,,
"but I'll have a lot of time now to figure it out........."
Yeah, that's what we all thought.😁
Congratulations and enjoy.
Hope you have a long and enjoyable retirement yblockhead.
Congratulations to you!! Now what ya gonna do?
Good for you, Congrats.
I won't be fixing aircraft carriers anymore...........I'll go back to tinkering on some of the smaller running gear.
Congratulations Sir !!!
Enjoy!
You'll be busier now & wonder where you found time to go to work. CONGRATULATIONS & welcome to the club.
Congrats! The endless Saturdays await you!
congrats
like some one posted after a short time you will wonder how you found time to work LOL
Congratulations and thank you from a Navy vet.
Congrats, Yblock! Sounds like you had an interesting career. May your retirement be just as interesting but with none of the stress!
Congrats
Congratulations. Yeah, good luck on that easy street dream. Week 1 of my retirement I drove 300 miles west to spend a month with #3 and her newborn while she finished her masters in education and son-in-law went back to work.
Three and a half years later and I'm still driving everywhere to take care of young'uns. Oh, and bees, and goats and chickens and dogs and cats and......lol.
You will soon wonder why you didn't do this 100 years ago! Congrats, you made it to codgerhood with the rest of us.
Congrats, and welcome to the club.
Good for you, I was semi-retired for the last ten years or so, and made it official a few months ago, still trying to find time to get all the stuff that needs doing done that I had put off...
Congratulations. I like the hat and plaque. I had a picture taken of myself throwing my last switch on the railroad. Don’t forget to put your first retirement dollar with your hat and plaque.
Congrats on your retirement. Now the real work begins, so says my father. LOL. Now get that honey do list out and get back to work. Enjoy, you deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats it will be 9 years for me on Halloween.
Wonderful news. I suppose now you'll be busier than ever!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I've been retired for 10 years. It has gone fast. I wish you well.
Congrats
Thanks all for the kind words! Now if I can turn off the alarm-cat, I might be able able to get a full nights sleep.
I got a cat like that too. Let's you and me meet for a gun show in Tulsa and leave the cats at home. Wundudnee will come along and make for a PARTY!
Great accomplishment! 41 years of knowledge, I hope you were able to pass some of it down to the next generation.
A year from now you won't know how you ever had time for work in the first place.
In ten months the country could be in dire straits.I have had 6 years of retirement but have been fightning old age and changing my bad habits in order to live longer.I have invested in myself and I hope it works! America gave me my chance however it's not guarantee it will last with The country going into bankruptcy fast! I blame Congress for it all, they are nothing but opportunist and Have lead the country to a sorry state of affairs in my in opinion.
