Scammed Beware of removed email address
On Saturday 24 Sept 22 I emailed a seller on Gun Broker (removed) inquiring about a Coonan 357. Told seller I was interested and would get back. The next day I received a email from seller and asked if i was still interested, and that they had another interested buyer I said I was and went to Gun Broker to bid/buy the gun. The listing was marked "sold". The seller then emailed me and said they had taken it off Gun Broker and "held" it for me. I sent the payment in USPS money orders on Monday, the payment was received that Friday. Seller said it would be shipped on Friday, then Monday. This morning 9 Oct 22 I received a email from seller stating there were "errors" from the shipping company and that it would cost $840.00 to ship the gun, and could I send $400.00 to help cover the shipping. I stated that I will not send any more money, and if it could not be shipped per the original agreement to please refund my money ($1800.00, shipping included). I realize I'm out of $1800.00 dollars not due to Gun Broker, just letting you know who to look out for. BTW, no responses to my request of a refund as yet. Further information I know: Seller: Removed. Reported to local authorities
