Marlin 1895PG

Recently bought a used Marlin 1894PG, 44 magnum manufactured in 2004. I understand this model was only made by Marlin in 2003 and 2004. Any idea how many of these were made each year, respectively? They are more comfortable to shoot in the pistol grip configuration than the straight stock model. Any information on the internet is very limited. Thanks.
