Bingo, when he said Earl, it sounded familiar, but it wasn't quite what I remembered. Joe liked guns, Earl liked Taylor Swift. I don't think that either was banned, maybe Earl though. Both characters of the forum though.
Earl liked a lot of the ladies and is from New Orleans. He and I have messaged a few times. I even bought a 22LR conversion for my Mini-14 from him. I liked Joe if just for his entertainment value. I thought he got caught with lead in the stomach of his tourney fish. There were other colorful members but these two stand out in my mind.

Your topic would certainly get one of CNNs finests attention. Right Don
That's a weird thing to say to a bunch of guys Ricci.....
Indeed, that certainly is Worls Klas.
Almost didn't open it, was thinking "Hey y'all, hold my beer and look at this wood" ..........................NOPE.
That is probably one of the most beautiful stock sets I've ever seen, heck, the stock is worth as much as the shotgun would be without it.
I almost missed the part in the description about how exceptionally "FINGERED" it was, makes me go Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Looks like you might do OK on this one Ricci. Wanna trade for sheep or bricks?
Oops.
In certain gun makers circles, to say to a gun builder showing off his work that his gun "has nice wood" is a real insult.
The rib fell off.
That's what she said!
Wood???.....gunstock wood???? I'm there!!!
One of my nicer ones......a Winslow/Sako in 17-222 .
Yes it is worls Klass. I miss Earl. His posts were always very interesting.
beautiful... to purty to hunt for fear of scratching
Fantastic!
Wolfpack, I believe that was Joe. Earl was the lawyer down south. Really characters but pretty sure they are relaxing on the beach at Misfit Island.

I liked Earl Boydell, of Metaire La. He was an interesting character who got, unfairly, kicked off. I miss him.
We also need back Dennis Nielsen of Texas and stories of his pet Little Buck. The forum has not recovered from losing these 2 guys.
