Quite. Nice to see ya MBK. It's been a while.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Yes, I am here......you guys haven't ran me off yet! 😛
Whatcha driving for a vehicle these days? I always enjoy hearing your vehicle stories.
I have a Toyota Highlander. I love it. This will most likely be my last "complicated" car I buy. It has so many gadgets and do-dads on it that I don't ever use. I do like the cruise control a LOT. It makes me want a self driving car so bad....but the Alabama roads are so nutty I don't think any self driving will work out here.
The only silly car story I have right now is my husbands tale. A friend of ours was selling a Civic for a widow he knew. Larry bought it as a gas sipper to drive to work. He drove it ONE DAY before my son took it over. My son sold his pickup truck and bought a motorcycle about a year ago along with a super crappy dodge charger he bought from a friend. We've told Liam if he wants the Civic he can BUY it, but he has plans to sell his things and get himself something. Whatever his plans are.....driving his dads car seems to be his "meantime" plans. Larry is less than thrilled, but glad it gets him off the motorcycle a bit.
What year is your Highlander? I just sold our 2021 Highlander to Carmax. It really was a nice car but neither of us has been driving it for weeks at a time. Also how old is Liam now?
Mine is a 2020, I got it new, but it was close to the end of the year when they were about to release the 2021. I got mine just before the big shortage of parts and nonsense. I drive mine a LOT, it has nearly 100K miles on it already.
LIam is 25 now. He starts working for FedEx Monday. He has had several jobs this year. He keeps finding places that pay a fortune....but finds they treat their people like crap, so he keeps jumping around. I hope he finds something he can stick with before my hair starts falling out.
Wow time flies!
