Ugly crimp ... 410

How ugly to you crimp to before tossing?
After reloading these AAs 7+ times they get pretty ugly. Many of them don't close well so I use a piece of cotton ball and a dental tool to stuff it so shot doesn't end up in my action.
I'm still shooting in the mid 20s and a couple of straights with these so I believe the ugly crimp is not effecting the compression/charge, or am I wrong on that??
MEC 9000 (disconnected the auto rotation), reloading 2 1/2" 1/2 oz # 9, using LIL GUN, Bushing #12 - getting right around 14grain. I have not crono'd the round.

When they get that bad I'd toss them. It's amazing how them little pieces of shot can get into the smallest places and make a gun inoperable and ruin a good round.
I get maybe 3 reloads on the NEW AA HS. Pretty disappointing consider the cost of new and the number of reloads of the OLD style. But being a penny pincher - I WILL push them to 10 times to get my money's worth outta these hulls. Can't find them anywhere for less than $1 a round new - delivered. IF I can find a walmart that sells them They run around $19+ a box. Reloading today costs me just under $.28 / per.

Try roll crimping after cutting the cases shorter
