When Govt sees a business making profits and want to install a WindFall Tax. Ironic the Govt messed up in Saudi Arabia and then blames American Companies for not doing enough... Right when the Govt forbid new drilling and shut down the pipeline. What company will they tax next for making in their eyes too much profit. Socialism is just a little away

Also........check into CD's, either bank or brokered, as their rates have rocketed up in the last few months. Days even.........check at Fidelity or Vanguard.
BTW........oil shot up about four and a half dollars a barrel today. Seems that China is backing off of it's COVID zero lock down policy. Time will tell......
I saw that @62vld2042 made my DVN, XOM and FANG close up some, haven't had any CD's in a long time, was mostly in cash at the time covid hit and the shutdown wiped out a lot of the O&G stocks but about 16-18 months ago I was getting heavy into some of the most beat down knowing they would come back with a bang, imho they got at least another year of growth which is fine with me and they pay good divies to boot. Stay thirsty my friend!
Big tech, banks, financiers like Soros, Steyer, media, and insurance companies are pulling the strings of the DEMOCRAT party. They are rewarded with tax loop holes so they dont have to pay at all. With their control of most of media they place the blame on everyone else and protect the rats screwing up our country.

Being "liquid" for too long, in this 12 to 15% inflation economy, is killing me. Gotta do something to help minimize losses.

Yep @62vld2042 right in the Barnett shale with two NG wells on my place, but no mail-box money the original property owners sold this and a few hundred acres around me without the rights, was a dairy farm at one time but when the Old man died they split it up, I got my place 22 years ago from the second owners...

Well, their buddies in the big tech industries are raking in a lot more profits than big oil is. But the difference is that big tech is 100% liberal so they won't be touched. Just look at the 247 million Zuckerberg donated to Democrats in 2020.

Our interests are in the Anadarko Basin (not far from the STACK and SCOOP plays)......via ancestors, to whom I'm very grateful. Our ship came in via one ng well in 2009..........but I'll ALWAYS keep in mind the dark days of the mid 90's.......having to make a house payment with a credit card.

l think they should apply the ''WINDFALL PROFITS TAX'' to the housing rental industry. Landlords have profited more than any over the past couple years🤑
