If any of you all buy the nylon dog bones and then toss them when they get sharp and rough on the ends from being chewed on. My wife is one she hates them sticking in the carpet and stepping on the sharp ends. Well dudley has a 3 sided one shaped like a Y, he has worked the ends as described and the wife said toss it. I was down in the garage tinkering and thought why not sand it a little. well sand paper clogged up and I decided to try the bench grinder, same with it, then tried the wire wheel I keep on the other half of the grinder. It took all the sharp spots right down, and though it isn't smooth as glass he is chewing away now as I type like it is a new toy, so you all may try it instead of tossing them.........

No, thanks. I prefer real bones.
momma said NO to real bones on the new carpet...........
Oh, you meant for the dog.
I use to grind them away with the dremel while Dixie watched. She knew exactly what I was doing
That is TOO EASY but I gotta let it slide so I don't go the misfit island! 😁
@hillbille, I tried your method with those nylabones a couple years ago and found a better method. I just got out the propane torch and melted off the sharp chewed up ends! Only took a couple minutes and the dogs liked the new smoked flavoring that the torch added! 😁
Been doing that for years. Those darned Nylon bones are ridiculously expensive.
