What has become of the Remington Arms plant in Ilion now that the dust has settled from the bankruptcy? Does Ilion still exists?

The last I heard was the manufacturing was still in Ilion and they were moving the Marlin production there. The headquarters staff were moving to Georgia. There have been several contradictory reports about if they will stay in NY because of that states draconian firearms laws, so who knows what the future holds for that plant. Bob
After Remington went bankrupt, Marlin was bought by Ruger. So far Ruger has only produced one Marlin rifle.
Yep, I think Bob forgot that chapter in the book....You know what they say about getting old.😉
Marlin became Remlin then the Rulin. I hope Ruger manages to save the old established brand.
The new Ruger Marlins are very good rifles from what I hear. I think the model 1895 in 45/70 is the only model being made so far and they are made at Ruger's factory in Mayodan, N.C. up near the Virginia border.
Ooops! Yeah I knew that but you know what happens when you get old. Well, I hope somebody knows, cause I done fergot!😁 Bob
Edit to add, I might be suffering from a tryptophan overdose from yesterday. Yeah, yeah, that's it - to dang much turkey!
Bobjudy.. it is contagious. I had another dose for lunch. Won't be eating much of a supper tonight.
Well apparently, you have completely forgotten that two grand you borrowed from me that night in Reno.
What has become of Ilion, NY? It is a very small town.
