I occasionally watch Survival Lilly on youtube. She lives in Austria and has lately been reporting about how bad things are in Austria and Germany. Little fuel to heat homes, problems with food and medicines, things like that, thanks to the government. I heard her say that there was a 20% value added tax on top of the regular taxes on most items one buys there. WOW!! From what I hear there will be a lot of people dyeing there if they have a cold winter.

Unfortunately, less resistance for Putin.
20-25% tax on new goods. That is crazy. As I posted in the other thread about Ireland.. their wood is imported and cost around 1k dollars for what we know as a cord of wood. Crazy. And it is split in 1 foot lengths. Putin is trying to destroy all the electric grids to them in Ukraine . That one nuclear plant is holding on by a string and it does most of Europe . Just think about the hospitals and folks needing surgery and medicines. What a mess
In most socialist country’s when there is a problem they feel the best way to solve the problem is by raising taxes. Also when the governments own and control energy supplies instead of having a free market, your reliant totally on that governments policies.
Which is, of course, the true goal of the Green Energy movement.
