gonna go out and see what made it........
through gun season, it ended yesterday. Headed out to the cabin to check the camera cards and the blinds as we have had terrible winds last few days and noone has been hunting this week since tuesday. grandkids both rolled their eyes, when I asked them if they wanted to go, so it is just me and dudley for the day, he allready got wound up in the backyard doing hotlaps in the frost in the grass, missed a few turns and rolled around, mamma wouldn't let him back in without a quick bath in the sink, so I now have to wait for him to dry off, he is not happy but I guess it keeps my truck seats clean. got a few FAT squirrels in back yard, as they have eaten close to half a 50lb bag of corn!!! I was keeping in the outbuilding, gonna fill the feeder with the rest as it is a couple weeks till muzzleloading season and it will be gone by then, feeder is set for about 50lbs a week. our group only got 4 bucks but the woods around my blind sounded like a war zone first 3 days. I know none of our bunch got any of the big ones, hope they made it through and will be waiting for us come muzzleloading season.......

haven't been out since thanksgiving, I had nothing but does, but my sons camera, about 2 miles down road, had 6 different bucks coming through before noon each day, only one would be considered big, but all were legal to shoot....... had to chase 3 does out when I went in today, they just stood in the woods watching me and dudley, I think they were more interested in him than me, I'm sure they went right back after we drove off..........
Sounds like a good day for a walk.
Does taste as good as bucks.
Don't see as many deer here as I thought I would. Since July I can count them on one finger.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Checked my cameras Monday.
The damn squirrels ate the top off of one of mine.
Time to squirrel hunt I guess.
Drobs, does taste much better than bucks, Let the bucks go for the kids!
