Holy Grail for 1911 collectors just went up for auction with no reserve on another auction site.🤐
Very nice condition from looks of pictures and sellers description.
I'll guess 75,000.00+- a bit.
Good hunting.

Is this like a treasure hunt? What do I win if I post the link to the auction in question 1st?
30 days.
it will be well beyond any amount I could come up with but glad to see the old guns being taken care of and the people who have the cash jumping on it
I have a long time acquaintance who is a FFL I met at work he is about ten yrs older than me .
he told me maybe 15 to 20 yrs yrs ago about having one when he did the gun shows back in the early to mid 1970's when he became a gun dealer ) and a few collectors were after him to sell it one fellow was relentless in his effort . my buddy said did not want to sell it as even back then knew it was rare and only going go up over time
however, the other fellow wore him down and I am sure a good offer , he said he did give in finally
but regrets it . like a lot of us there is always at least one or two things we wish we had held on too just a little longer 😥
would be a great find to stumble across one
JD give yourself a promote.🙃
"See honey I tried to sell it. No one will give me what it's worth."
WOW
$10,500 shipping?
Delivered by Brinks?
I realize those things are extra extra rare, but c'mon. I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night.
Just a cool 1.5 Million. Pocket change. 🤪😜 Sure glad it's not my deal. Must be waiting for Elon Musk.

drobs, I couldn't go above $1.2M so I'm out.
Bidding started last night, 31 bids and 13 days to go, 41,000.00 + so far.
On the listing posted it shows it closes in 1day and no bids? Where do I look or do you have a link.

Made in the outmoded 45 ACP. Pass.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
43 bids, 13 days left, 47,000.00 and rising.
I think if had something like that and I was not underwater in debt I would never sell it.
I have a few or three items that have increased $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ over the years, I think I will just keep them.
If you sell something next thing you know both money and gun is gone.
Butchdog is spot on
53,000.00 and climbing.
1 hour left, 70,000.00 and climbing
I don't suppose I would be bidding on a $75,000 item I could not see up really close. Or ever...
Hammer dropped at 83,050.00 with 107 bids.
What auction for a Singer 1911 are you guys watching?? The only one I see has a starting bid of one point two million dollars and no bids. This is way higher than what others have sold for but it has two more days. The whole thing looks a bit strange to me. Vague photos, no information, and no bids accepted without prior authorization.
Evidently there's another auction site they're watching... Who knew?!
It's a different auction site, but they don't have a forum to post on.
Wow 83,000 last I looked it was at round 58K

I will never understand why some people will pay that much money for a gun.
Well ya could sure stitch somebody up with that.......
Guns can be a great investment but like everything else, you need to know what to buy, and you have to buy it at the right price.
The GB auction probably includes an extra zero.
Don't understand the Porsche paperwork.

The not to be named site use to have a forum section, one part was "true' stories, lots of laughs for sure.
