I've been doing this at an athletic club religiously 3 times a week for over 30 years! Just part of why life now. Hope it has some value😯

2-3 times a week. I am 85 !!🤩🤩🤩
I do. I went rolling down a dark staircase about four months ago and my right knee doesn't want to heal so the squats and deadlifts and car pushing are out for now. I do upper body work here in the office. I have a 35 lb. kettlebell, a 25 lb. and 45 lb. pound plates here and can get a lot of work done with them. I have been using resistance bands a lot for the last few months and they work great for me. I have gotten a lot stronger this past year as well as dropping 120 lbs. so I feel pretty good. It's nice to be able to see the veins in my arms again.
Every day at gym
No, but should
Lifting 12 ouncers on a regular basis...
Total Gym...all you need..if it's good enough for Chuck Norris.. it's good enough for me...
Ruger4me, Taking advice from my dad, I've been using that routine for 64 years. My right arm compared to my left look like it belongs to a pro tennis player.
After completing rehab on my third total knee replacement I joined a gym . I try to go at least 3 or 4 times a week . Trying to maintain my gains
If you are receiving social security are 65 years old and have a supplement insurance ( I have United Health) you may qualify for a FREE membership to Silver Sneakers. They have access to thousands of gyms across the country. In Shape & Anytime are my favorites and they are both national. I have been to clubs in six states, all free of charge, just show your card and you are good to go. BTW, I was member of the month in April, 2021 at our local Anytime (have a free T shirt that says so!) which is key access 24/7 nationwide. Did I mention the membership is FREE??? !!!! Anyone else interested in more information, ask me or just look up Silver Sneakers.
Working on a Farm I get all the workout I need. Everything I do is pretty much physical stress to the limit at every angle and every position. Can still pack 2 fifty pound sacks of feed on my shoulder all day long up hill, down hill and through the mud.
yup, every fall.............making the fire wood supply
Walk trails in the Rio Grande Bosque x3 per week, 4 miles each.
Pelvic floor exercises, every other day. Your bladder will thank you.
I walk and/or hike every day. I have averaged over 5 miles a day for the last 7 years. I have had to slow down a lot this year since I messed up my knee, usually keeping it under 3 miles a day. I hit the gym 3 times a week and mainly work on my knees and hips as I rehab/strengthen the knee. I still bench press, military press, curls/tris, Lats and butterflies. I usually end the day doing crunches on a machine where you can adjust the weight.
Underneath all this fat, I look pretty good !
😮😉
Someone remind me not to pick a fight with jltrent.
In my home gym. I did the 75 Hard mental toughness program last year.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Been going to the Y for nine years...three times a week.
They make me use the back door, they say I make the place look bad......
A few years back during my yearly physical my Doctor told me my testosterone level was too high and he needed to bring it down with meds, I said * no, your not turning me into Dolly Parton......he shut up too 😀. I'm blessed the same as Mr. jltrent above, no gym needed around here.

I never needed a gym either until rheumatoid arthritis laid me low requiring three total knee replacements in as many years . Full disclosure the third one was to correct a screw-up install from the first one . Surgeon said the first rebuild the guy used the wrong sized parts and installed them crooked. But good luck getting him.to say that in court
...they kept asking me why I'm just sitting still on the stationary bike. Dude, I'm going downhill, mind your own business.
@Everyone
I work out everyday when I get out of the shower and try to put my underwear on.
You don't mess with a man who waxes his tractors.
I get plenty of exercise jumping to conclusions and flying off the handle.
After college, in 1973, I joined our local YMCA.......still a member. In 1977, on racquetball court #1, I first laid eyes on my soon-to-be wife.
For about the next 40 years I played 5 to 6 games a day, 4 days a week......plus about 6 tournaments a year. Due to a few injuries, over the years, I added distance swimming and road biking (completed the Hotter-N-Hell Hundred twice in the late 80's).
But..........all good things come to an end......sorta. About 8 years ago, I had to pull way back on workouts......knee, foot, and shoulder. These every-few-days consist of a few weights, steam room, whirlpool, shower........home.
It ain't the years......it's the miles. 😐
elubsme- There is a "Silver Sneaker" class at the club I go to. Maybe 40 folks partake. God bless them. Two older guys (one just turned 90 and the other 85) are there 3 times a week.
The gym I work out in has an old duffer there every morning I am there. I heard him tell someone he was 89. He walks about 40 minutes on a treadmill each time and then someone comes and gets him and he goes home.
I just hoping to be upright at that age !!!
I'm 79, The General is 93 (Brigadier Army!)
