Illinois Gun Store experience this weekend....
Traveled through Illinois a few days ago and made a stop at a large sporting goods store in Champaign, IL. I have purchased many items there over the years. This trip Magazines, optics, most firearm accessories, Hunting equipment etc were all 25% off. All rifles and shotguns were 15% off. Handguns were on sale depending on the model.
My first thought was Wow what a great Christmas sale.....then I realized they are dumping inventory. A sales person more or less confirmed it. They are pretty sure there will be a ban in place sometime after the first of the year....
That night in our hotel room, I watched the news and there was Dickie Durbin and several Illinois "experts" and political folks saying the ban of "Assault Weapons" would be a great thing and the crime rate will drop...and Durbin said they need to push this on a national level too.....
What a bunch of lies and liars....

They are doing that in Michigan, but if you have such item, it can be grandfathered in by registering it....every 5 years to the state police.

His first name is descriptive of him.
Ohh yea, they have all the votes bought and paid for and an appeals judge in the wings to uphold it at all costs. AND the little dudes know it is just the step to start the federal ban again and JB Dickster to have a feather in his cap with the lib freaks when he runs with someone or picked to run as a VP. Sweet little dickens they are.
Ta think Dinozzo? gimme some.
From reading the news lately, seems like a lot of citizens were legally defending themselves with firearms against others with probably illegal firearms causing great * harm and death. I guess they want to stop this.
Santa preparing to go thru Chicago....
This is all one big CHICAGO lie. If someone really and truly believes that this is going to stop the violence in Chicago, chances are they really do think that Superman exists or the crypto king Sam Bankman is totally innocent.
I grew up in scenic Peoria but fortunately got out in '62. I still go back to visit family and talk to my nephew about firearm laws there. He is a collector/hunter. It's hard to believe what he goes through to buy and have anything. To think he is just one state away. 😕
sounds like one county is fighting back Iroquois County
