a rem. 700 short action is 'close' but will reqire a little 'fitting'
Since the 722 has, essentially, a blind magazine, a short action 700 ADL would probably be the best fit.
On going from the 722 to the 700. The rear sight boss will have to be inleted as well as a slight adjustment for the safety to swing freely.
Also the Magazine box might be a bit too long to fit in the ADL. A few swipes with a file will cure that,
