The sewing machine .45 reminded me of this: For those of us who are fans of the Winchester model 70, serial #1 and #2 are available on the auction side for a starting bid of 1,750,000. Yes, two commas but, of course, it's a twofer. I don't think I'll get in on that one. I did go $1,700 (one comma!) for a 1947 .250-3000 and $975 for a .264 Westerner at gun shows so I think I will just try to be content with those.

I have a couple very low numbered 9422's, They can't be had for 75,000.00
