Two days short of the anniversary of his " immaculate reception "
Rest in peace, Big guy.

Sorry to hear that. He will be remembered to football fans forever for that reception.
Ah yes. The great Seahawks legend. RIP.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
There is a memorial for that play in Pittsburgh. Those Yankees take sports seriously.
There is a huge bronze statue in that city for Dick Mazeroski.
RIP Sir
RIP.......
A tough player..........humble person.
A rare combination........these days.
R.I.P. Franco
A friend met him in a bar in Western Pennsylvania in the 80's. He said the same. A humble and low key guy.
RIP
Great running back and from accounts an upstanding individual. Watched him most every Sunday. Growing up I remember watching the immaculate reception live when it happened. To say I was over joyed would be an understatement. Great player on a great team. RIP Franco.
