Chili Dogs.....it is what's for supper !!!

The Sandwich thread got me thinking about other sandwiches I may have not eaten in a while. We stocked up with this storm system coming and I grabbed some hot dogs. When I was putting things away, I found a Steak and Shake can of chili........

Dang that made a great combo. Anyone else get inspired by the sandwich thread ??

we still have hot dogs and chili not very often but are a nice change up

in the spring each year a couple times we will stop by a local drive in hot dog stand been there what seems like forever it is closed in late fall until late spring .

on th e dge of town changed names many times I think it started life as a big name root beer stand just out side a very nice park and the city's swimming pool

just for nostalgia reasons I guess , now the prices are crazy and they have to have the cheapest hot dogs found to serve up think the old drive in movie hot dogs LOL

but once or twice wife and I will stop by just to remanence of the days gone by

Been years since I've had a good chili dog William81. Last time was at Mug&Bun in Indy (actually Speedway on W. 10th St.) I don't know if they are still there.

It's too late for me, save yourself.

We had Chicago hotdogs for dinner ourselves, the day before, we had biscuits and gravy for dinner. Nice to switch it up now and again.

I like Steak and Shake, but I have to run to Oklahoma to find one. Kind of a fur piece for a chile dog. I do have tamales and green chili, I'll have to make do.

I have hot dogs in the freezer but no other ingredients to make chili dogs. What I DO have are some frozen beef and bean burrito's. Hmmmm! I just may invent the hot dog clad B&B burrito!! May have to come up with one of those Taco Bell south of the border type names for this.

    A Weinerito? 😁

An el' Vaccaro tube steak? 😁

An el' grande beaner dog 😁

Any help with a name from you folks welcome!

Not a novel idea @Brookwood, Folks been making hot dog burritos for as long as there has been tortillas and hot dogs, do a search there are many recipes... 😁
