How bout some pictures Joe. BIG ones are best! 😁
Very nice. Kershaw still makes a nice knife and the founder, Pete Kershaw, is one of the finest men you'd ever want to meet.
We had get together Saturday evening with some of my wife's family and my wife told me that we were each to take a "dirty santa" gift and they were supposed to be in the $10-$15 range.
Instead of running out to find something, I knew I had a stash of knives I had bought a few years ago online that were on a clearance type sale. I found them and there were (4) Kershaw Wildcat Ridge, (7) Kershaw Corral Creek and (4) Kershaw Indian Ford. I did some quick googling and I think they are all discontinued so even though I know they are cheaper knives, I had second thoughts. Then I found some Army Strong knives that I had a several of so one of them went to the cause.
The knives you mentioned, Wildcat Ridge, Corral Creek, and Indian Ford were all named after places on the ranch Pete used to come out and deer and elk hunt on. I almost froze to death one winter on Wildcat Ridge when the weener calves got out and we had to go out in -7 weather to round 'em up!
I have a few Kershaw knives and until just recently I have carried one of these for the last 35+ years;
Kershaw model 2000 Rogue. I have had several but they are long discontinued and getting hard to find. The one I have now sits on the dresser and I carry a 3 bladed vintage Hen&Rooster instead. Turns out dad was right, with 3 blades you don't have to sharpen as often. Bob
