Ricci, Thank You!! A report on an Armscorp 1911A!!
Ricci posted about a good deal on a 1911 A. My only mistake was not buying 5 or 6 at the $299.99 price!!
This is a plain jane, no bells and whistles 1911 A. The fit and finish are exceptional, the lockup is amazing at any price. Remember when 1911s always had some slide slop?? Remember when the Colts straight from the factory not only had slide slop but rattled if you shook it?? Zero slide slop!! No movement trying to wiggle the slide in any direction. As in NO MOVEMENT!!!
To be honest the lockup is so tight I'm wondering if it will need a break in period of X number of rounds through it to be reliable. But maybe not. The Rock Island Armory 1911 10 MM I bought here on GB a couple 2/3 years ago was exactly the same way in being a super tight lockup and has never failed in any way in the 150 rounds or so I've put through it.
Ricci, again, thank you!! Anytime you see a smoking deal like this in the future let us all know!!

GOOD DEAL!!! Put some rounds through that puppy and let us know.
Why shoot the puppy!!!! Don
Who is shooting puppys??
From the movie "HOMBRE. A great movie by the way.
Yesterday I showed this 1911 to my gun enthusiast neighbor. His 1911 is a Sig, which he LOVES!! He isn't real knowledgable about 1911s but he knows enough that when he picked up my new 1911 he checked the slide for slide slop first thing. Drew was impressed, he stated it was as tight as his Sig. He couldn't believe I got it for $299!!
Like I said earlier, if I had known how nice this 1911 was, at this price, I would have bought a few more. There is no way I couldn't resell a few for $200+ profit on each!!
"resell a few for $200+ profit"
You are not supposed to do that--which seems odd since you can do that with most everything else!
