I have had enough of glasses. I will be getting Lasik tomorrow morning.
I have astigmatism’s in both eyes, so my adjustment will be what they call mono-vision.
My dominant eye will be fixed for distance and my other eye fixed for reading.
I hope it improves my shooting!

Here's to a successful procedure!
After 40 years of wearing glasses I also had that surgery done last year. Worked out well, but I still need reading glasses for the very fine print.
Good luck, had a shot in the eye today.
Prayers it all goes well Dave.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Good luck, best wishes
I’m sure it can be scary waiting to have this done, but any more this procedure has become pretty much common place with 100% success. Good luck, everything will go fine.
Prayers for you today, Dave! Hope all goes well and you're back to shooting nothing but Alpha's soon.
Hope all goes well for you
I had cataracts removed about three yrs ago and was looking forward to having the procedure laski so many people I knew had amazing results
Not to be sadly for me
back in 1994 I had the radiL k... What ever theycalled it when they used scaples to cut you eyes to reform them worst decision ever nightmare for me
Any way it came back to haunt me agIn with all the scaring left on my eyes the doc said too much a risk to do laski and try and work around all the scars safely
Oh well they did get rid of my cataracts
A friend of mine had it done. I think he had his dominant hand / eye set for up close pistol sights and the other eye done for distance.
Good luck , I’ll say a prayer for you.
Prayers all goes well for you.
Best of luck! I asked my doctor about it and she said it would work for me, but that I would likely lose precision in my vision. I value that. I have had glasses or contacts (until I moved to the desert where my eyes are too dry for comfortable contacts) since Jr. high (mid-school). I don't mind them often.
How did it go?
