reaction targets.......
took the grandson out to the cabin today to get my camera's and take my blind/tents down, grabbed heater, ect. On the way home we stopped in a wide spot near the creek at the bottom of the hill, there were icicles hanging 3-4 feet down and about 3 foot across, I asked my grandson if he wanted to do some shooting as there was only dirt behind the ice it was about 30 feet away. He missed a couple shots just high, I reminded him about lining up the sights and the ice started flying. a 357 will do a number to a big icicle. when he was done with the revolver I let him try my deringer, he missed the ice but did spray some dirt on them, which wasn't to bad considering the distance, and his first time shooting a deringer. Wish I had taken more ammo as I did throw another box in the glovebox of the truck when I got home. we will be ready next time.......

Sounds like you both had fun, good job.
You should plant trees that have large leaves even in winter.
What were the icicles hanging from? Sounds pretty and fun!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I just hate ice in the winter. Shooting it gets my complete approval!
