just let the dog out and dudley has just started to hike his leg, so right in the middle of the yard he is standing in the rain with his right leg hiked high watering the grass. Then the hmmmm came to mind, I wonder if dogs are right or left legged, like people are right or left handed??????

Depends on which way the wind is blowing....
I don't know the answer, but my Golden Retriever will "shake hands" with either front paw.
Well Spookie the newest pup is just starting to lift his right, but still squats some of the time... now I got something else to occupy my mind...jeeze GB forums are the best...
My two Border Collies usually pee on the hill in back of our house. They always squat while lifting the leg on the downhill side.
That way, as the pee runs downhill it runs under the lifted foot. Since they are both clean girls they don't want to pee on their feet!! I mean they are Border Collies!!😁
Don't know, but it will make for a nice Govt. funded grant to find out. This gives me an idea,,,,
My pooch is equally inaccurate with either leg up. Seems to depend on which side his target is positioned.
Don't give them any ideas Joe. They have enough bad ideas to spend our tax money on their own!
My Golden boy stopped lifting any of his legs after being fixed. He just squats. No need for a target when all the ammo you got are blanks I guess? 😯
