    There was no hazard because of the loaded ammunition. Reloading powder? Maybe. Depending on how it was stored.

    If the house was fully engulfed, best sto stand down and let it burn. Unless it's impinging on another structure,

    However, firefighters love to spray water. It's what they do.

    I'd like to see a house FULL of ammunition. I would be envious.

    When the FD showed up at the fire at my place 11/2, they went into slow motion once it was known no humans were in danger. In fact they wasted so much water sprinkling the edges that they ran out and had to send the 'tankers' 15 miles for refill. In the mean time, a couple of neighbors showed up with 500' of garden hose and buckets to keep the spreading fire contained while the FD was picking daisies.
