One of my "Guitar Hero's" is gone. Beck inspired my older brother to take up the guitar back in the late 60's. That is when I was introduced to Beckola and I really enjoyed this music!
Although Jeff Beck really never received the full recognition or better put super stardom for his abilities IMO, he sure did put a lot of rock stars like Rod Stewart up in lights.

Beck was my pick for one of the all time greats! Here is Jeff Beck performing backed by one of the best current drummers and one of the best bass players making great music!
Ignore Murreys intro.

A bit of trivia. I was sitting at the casino lounge at the Golden Nugget about 10 years ago when the band started to play. I watched the lead guitarist finger action and noticed something unusual with his thumb movements. After the first set he walked by me and stopped to talk for a bit. I told him that I play a little but never have seen anyone thumb both on the downstroke and the upstroke. He said that the only guy he new of that did that was Jeff Beck.
Listening to Blow By Blow.
