Flat side Contenders, early original 67', one line barrels

I recently aquired my second first year flat side Contender serial 168x. It came it a wood box that was unmarked but almost identical to the collector boxes with the red velvet inside
and "TC" logo on top. The 22LR one line barrel that came with it is only 8 3/4" long while the other three were 10".
Can anyone tell me if the box is from the TC factory and if it has any value? How about the shorter 22 LR barrel being only 8 3/4"? Why is it shorter and is it worth more because if the length?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

No clue as an expert (I am mot one) but you should be thrilled to have that in your collection!
I don't know if it's original but the box certainly has value.
That is way cool.
Maybe someone had it cut down???? Not sure. I thought they all started at 10", but could be wrong. By the way, I love it.
