not a cry post, just to inform

as many here know the past year or so have been burning at both ends obsessing over the wifes bypass surgery and following complications

all that time i was just pushing off being tired etc. as just normal...

i should have known better

last saturday, the 14th she looked at me and stated YOU need to get to emergency, youre all yellow/jaundiced

i just got out of the hospital today with a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer that might have been caught earlier if i had paid more attention to my own symptoms

one member here has been kind enough to allow whatever time is needed to finish his project so i have a distraction from everything i will be putting up with, but for the future i wont be taking anything else in till i find out how things play out
