"McDonald’s CEO says layoffs are coming"
Hmmm....
People work in a field developing smarter and smarter tech that makes their own job redundant and then are surprised when they are laid off. Bob
one of the 3 local Mcdonaldsdid away with dining room service, drive thru only, the other two have limited dining room hours, this has to cut back on number or employees needed, but their excuse was they couldn't find the help to work. Makes you wonder if that is really the case nationwide, why are they laying off folks, when they can't find people to work.????????
I have noticed a trend that guys that work hard, show up everyday and are not afraid to get dirty never get laid off anymore. Most are pretty well paid now days.
It would appear that the defacatary matter is beginning to strike the rotary atmospheric mobilizer.

Because they find ways to do the same job with no or less workers. People demanded $15 an hr minimum wage. Well.......this is the result (which was KNOWN before hand).
People are being paid record amounts of $ to stay home and NOT work. This is the result of that too!
I agree with mike55. People demand higher wages and this causes employers to become more innovative to cut costs.
No one I believe ever started a business with the idea of, how many people can I employee. People start a business with the idea of, how can I compete viably and make a profit.
